Everyone is talking of healing and blooming.
But recovery isn't easy. It's no walk on the bench. It's not healing completely because let's be honest, that's impossible. Recovery is being able to see where you went wrong, what mishaps led to, what the choices you made cost you. Its Accepting what happened and not dwelling on it. Its the ability of your brain to finally stop comprehending the possible outcomes if things had taken a different turn, if you didn't take the loopholes or if you had picked the other directions. Recovery is owning the mistakes you made and not feeling ashamed of them cause they taught you something. You don't need to stop hurting to know you have recovered, you just need to view the past as it is, gone, beyond your control. You need to promise yourself that however destiny unfolds you will still love yourself the way you're😘 and the past won't define what you're going to be.Ⓜ

I am a victim of recovery in both angles and I believe in better days. on my road to recovery I hope I help a soul.

PART B
Sometimes healing consists of sitting in coffee shops and writing the years from your mind. Sometimes healing is laughing until you cry, it's kissing your friends faces and being moved and inspired by your life. Its listening to that particular song over and over again. And sometimes, healing is rest. It's hiding from the world. It's having everything inside of you be still and quiet and eerily bare. Sometimes healing feels like nothing at all. Like you're a silhouette of hope and hurt at the same time. Do not fight it. Whatever your healing feels like today, whatever it consists of- just allow it to be what it is. Just take care of yourself 🌹
